Two significant experiences inspired me to create @me while living in the DMV.
01
The first memory that stands out is arriving home late one night and discovering a car that had been broken into. Despite some belongings being left behind, I had no means of contacting the owner, resulting in the car being repeatedly ransacked. I thought if only there was a way to reach out to the owner to inform them, so they could retrieve their belongings.
These were my inspirations as I began the development of @me. The goal of @me is to be a good neighbor, even without knowing our neighbors.

On my way to my friend’s wedding in DC, I ended up running very late because a car was parked in a lane that was supposed to be cleared during rush hour, causing a massive traffic jam. I pondered over potential solutions but quickly realized that there were no straightforward fixes. Should I contact the parking authority? Is it worth involving the police over this? Is this why I call my congressman?
